barox Launches New Technology Partnership with Network Optix

barox Kommunikation AG is pleased to announce the launch of its new technology partnership with Network Optix. It is the latest addition to its already extensive integration portfolio with market-leading VMS and PSIM providers. This new integration will be officially presented at the Security Event from April 8 to 10, 2025, at the NEC in Birmingham, and is intended to transform the management and support of Nx Witness video networks.

At the barox stand in Hall 5, J50, Nx Witness users will have the opportunity to experience the extensive integration possibilities. Key features include extensive diagnostics, PoE management, CPU temperature analysis, and network monitoring, all presented in a user-friendly, intuitive GUI.

This addition to the barox portfolio is the latest in barox’s extensive range of plug-ins, from the market-leading manufacturer of Ethernet switches specifically designed for the demands of IP video networks. Nx Witness will be presented alongside barox’s long-standing technology partners, Milestone, Genetec, and Genesys by ISM – the NPSA-approved, CAPSS-certified command and control platform. With advanced integration capabilities, cyber functions, and sophisticated network diagnostic tools, visitors to the stand will discover why barox switches are the solution of choice for public spaces, CNI, utilities, transport hubs, data centers, government agencies, military, oil & gas, and other high-security applications.

With the barox Ethernet switch integration, advanced diagnostic data is displayed, showing the status of cameras and switches in a graphical diagram and enabling rapid localization of network or device problems – faults and failures can be diagnosed remotely. For example, if a network camera is unresponsive, barox switches can autonomously send a reboot command, saving valuable device downtime and, in many cases, bringing a device back online or resolving the issue without the need for a technician. In the event of a security breach, devices can be deactivated at the user level to maintain operation, while full remote control of the PoE ports allows users to reset or switch them off as needed. This advanced feature distinguishes barox from other network equipment providers and has proven to be an invaluable advantage that literally revolutionizes the management of high-security video surveillance networks.

In addition to its unparalleled integration capabilities, barox will present the latest additions to its Ethernet switch product range, along with some groundbreaking new remote reboot functions for media converters.

“We are delighted that barox is once again represented at TSE, showcasing our groundbreaking integrations with some of the industry’s best technology partners, including Genesys by ISM, Genetec, Milestone, and our newest partner Network Optix,” says Sarah Moss, barox Sales Manager UK & Eire. “TSE offers us an incredible opportunity to connect with our valued customers, and we invite them to experience firsthand how our latest switch products and technology partnerships are reshaping the future of the industry.”
