barox has launched the KN-LGIPR38-28AD, a cutting-edge 24-port, 10Gb Managed Industrial Ethernet PoE+ switch designed for demanding video applications. Featuring robust cybersecurity measures typical of barox products, this switch supports dual power inputs (90~264VAC and 57VDC) with up to 720W PoE capability and redundancy options. It offers 10Gb speeds and IEEE 802.3at PoE+ across all 24 x 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports, complemented by four SFP/SFP+ 1G/10G fibre uplink ports and OSPFv2/v3 routing protocols for layer-2/3 functionality.

Designed for industrial environments, the KN-LGIPR38-28AD operates fanlessly within a wide temperature range (-40 to +75°C), ideal for challenging installations. It supports IEEE 1588 V2 and Precision Time Protocol (PTP), crucial for applications in Critical National Infrastructure and Smart Cities. The switch ensures reliability with features like Jumbo frames, automated camera reboots on failure, and SNMP alerts. PoE enhancements include ‘Keep Alive’ functionality to maintain device connectivity and ‘Non-stop PoE’ for uninterrupted power during maintenance.
