An HD video signal is received by the EncoderRX-VN15-E, compressed and sent over an IP network. The image can be displayed directly on a PC, tablet or smartphone. The modules are equipped with HDMI and HD-SDI interfaces. The H.264 and MJPEG compression allows the data rate in the network to be significantly reduced without any major loss of quality.
In addition to the HDMI and HD-SDI interfaces, the audio interface can be used to transmit analog line-in and line-out. The IP network can be set up locally or can be expanded supra-regionally using any WAN technology.
The encoders are supplied as individual devices. Two of them can be mounted in a 19" 1U rack or individually as a desktop housing. The devices can be set up via a web server. The simple software interface ONVIF allows direct control of the devices from any VMS.
